Let me decide
and then to confide
if rehab's a calmer solution,
Shaking to shards
a house of old cards
i need to be rid of pollution,
Mother, you're fading
in puddles i'm waiting
for pain to soak up my soul
Father, you're strong
i wish i'd belong
but i just cannot feel myself grow
_______________
It's winter i know
and my bones ache a ton
I wish i could show
that my life's somewhat fun
But pills run amok
and they ravage my thought
I'll run out of luck
and my heart will then stop
_______________
So here i am
in this desert of sand
the mind that once held a view
The wind is a shove
numbness can't love
I knew, but never knew it was true
Let me discover
that hell's not a lover
and that i'm just a bottle of numb
Empty me hollow
she's afraid not to follow
and that's the beginning of one.

A thought provoking write u have here my friend. I can't point out my fav. verses cos the whole poem is perfectly penned.
Let me discover
that hell's not a lover
and that i'm just a bottle of numb
Empty me hollow
she's afraid not to follow
and that's the beginning of one.
This tells of ones emotional struggles within themselves. It feels like a long road to recovery, but it's well worth the ride my friend.
Always here for you. Chin up Dwayne, it'll get better my friend.
