For so many years words wisped through my ears Years upon years so many unspoken thoughts It stops for now, until I reach another dark chasm.
Ill come back somehow, with a glowing face. But not right now, somehow Ill grow up, Mother, father someday youll be proud.
Thoughts are still immature, teen angst engulfs me still Forget the past and the future Ill focus on today Starting from today.
Mother, father Come be proud of me Mother, father Im sorry Mother father Come be proud of me Mother! Father!

This is a wonderful description of how so many young people feel through that angsty time and what they really want in life. To be accepted for what and who they are and like all of us, to please the ones we love and make them proud. This could almost be a mantra for angst-ridden years. Great write.
