Our Special Day

Contributed by rcav8ing on Wednesday, 15th February 2006 @ 11:35:46 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

On this very special day I must say I LOVE YOU
From this day forward you will be my wife
On this day I will make a solemn promise
That from now until the end of our lives
I will continue to cherish everything that you are

You are the best thing that has ever happened to me
Your eyes look at me with the love that I feel for you
Your smile is the meaning of life for me
When I hold your hand my feet feel the warmth

In my eyes you are perfection
There could me nothing more to add to my life than you
With you I have it all
Thank you for everything

On this day my promise is made to remain faithful, kind and sincere
On this day my promise is made to never go to sleep angry
On this day my promise is made to provide for you
On this day my promise is made to be a loving husband
On this day my promise is made to care for you no matter what
On this day my promise is made to be the man you married for all of time
On this day my promise is made to prosper or not
On this day my promise is made to change for the better and not lapse
back to the man I have been in the past

I will change throughout the years but the changes will be forward motion
I will change from being a single entity to having a partner in life
This is the change that means the most
From this day forward my decisions become our decisions

With all of that said, Sweetheart, from this day forward
Will you be my wife?
