Butterfly Gathering (Rhyming Bussokusekika)

Contributed by Cynthia on Wednesday, 15th February 2006 @ 07:32:15 PM in AEST
Topic: mythology

Deep in the dark woods
You will be able to hear,
Fairies play their flutes
The butterflies will appear,
Gnomes dance, sing, cheer and eat fruit
Butterflies gather so near.

I like it. It's cute and fairytale like but I think you could go further with this.

Rhyming well done, Cynthia. Imagery is beautiful. I would give this a +10.

Warm hugs,
Rita

I am drunk and this still does nothing for me. The fairyland pic nic theme is a bit worn. I am not seeing blood, sweat, and tears on the page. I'm only seeing an intellectual giggle. You can do better.

You may think me crazy, but while camping in those deep dark woods, there is mystery.. I feel those things, hear nature... and yes, gather His fruits... butterflies are in my tummy as I read your poem... this is a wonderful full pleasure filled poem in so little words.. delightfully opening up any soul who reads.. yes, delightful warm spirited at its greatest.. masterpiece here.. thank you for its creation..

hugs, raquelLeah
