She wanted to change the world
But where could she start
She wanted to make a difference
So she started with her heart
A smile she wore as armor
Her weapons were kind words
She just treated others with respect
No poison sentences as swords
She just reached one person at a time
With her glowing light
She never turned away
From listening to others plight
She took the time
To make others feel
That she truly cared
And her concern was real
She wanted to change the world
But where could she start
She wanted to make a difference
So she started with her heart

This could be considered a wonderful tribute to Mother Theresa! That's who popped into my mind when I read this. There are too few people in the world like the persona in this poem. Nice work!
