How do I write poems very personal and unique?
It's all been said before and seems so complete.
How can I show just my ways to glorify my King
The Psalms by David in Your Word express all these things
What words can I say that have never been used
What gifts can I give that will make You amused
What ways can I give praise that's never been shown
What new song can I sing that's from me alone
What part do I play in this life that I live
That is divinely appointed for me to give
Isn't there anything for me alone to do
Isn't there something under the sun that is new?
Isn't there a special crown I can toss at Your feet
A talent that would be worth giving - a need to meet
Is there a special way I can tell You - You're whom I love
After all that You have done when You came down from above
There's only one thing You would like me to give
It would just be this life You gave me to live
I need to let You be the reigning Lord of it all
With You in control and being Lord, my life is Your call
With You in my life my poems will be only for You
The ways to express all my praise will just follow through
The part that I play may be a surprise in the end
But I know I can walk this life with You as my friend
The crown I toss at Your feet is my life that You gave
The talent will be sharing with others that You save
The special way I can express love is to only obey
And not worry about tomorrow but trust You today.
These words that I speak will be Yours that I use
These gifts You gave are truly mine to profuse
From my lips alone Your Praise I will let known
The simple songs I sing are for You alone!

| Many words stories been said, expressed, the way you say it, is your own way.. unique. Whether it is writing of His special love, gifts to us.. you.. its wonderful you say you are writing for him. Yes, even when I write of my past, or something I have learned, or just for Him alone, its all life.. about Him ... no one can write exactly the way that you do.. I love your poems Linda.. special meaning in every one of them. It shows your true love for our Father.. our creator.. who nothing we can think of or imagine, or discover He has not created.. Even the big bang theory that another poem has in it.. from Sheri I do believe.. could not even have the big bang without something before it, and what was before it..
