''Heart Breaking''

Contributed by juliepagliaro on Saturday, 18th February 2006 @ 03:54:44 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Forget your heart and listen to your heart. Okay, I lied. Don't lose your head entirely. If you do that, then what happend to me might just happen to you. So, listen to your heart and let it guide you, respect your first instinct and if you know something is bad for you, don't try to convince yourself otherwise. It's just not going to be worth it in the end.
One day you're going to mean somebody who is going to steal your heart away and no matter what you do, they won't let you into theirs. It will hurt, I'm not going to lie... the thought of it is painful enough, and the actual feeling itself kills you, but you have to make sure you never sell everything you stand for along with your hurt. People do stupid things when their heart is breaking. But three broken hearts later, you'll realize the only one who you truly want to be with was the one who broke yours...

These are very good words. I have had my heart broken and have tried to pick up the pieces. I finally did and went on with my life; although the thought of that relationship is still there. We keep going!!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
