A single note A tearstained verse You are my coffin, songs my hearse My words you took My love you stole You fill my heart's empty hole But the gap between the ages The gap between our ages Wont let us be The gap between the ages How cruel life can be A stupid number A dumb three years It's amazing I've shed so little tears Is there nothing I can do? Will I never be with you? The gap between the ages The gap between our ages The gap between the ages Wont let me be with you

A side note to anyone curious about the meaning behind this song:
Byrant is 19 and plays in a band called One Dark Flame. I, whom is 15, met him and I fell in love with him. He is a bassist in the band and the songwriter. I play the bass guitar too, and write songs...hence the verse and song being put in. |
