separate lives

Grief

Joined by qisma, Bonded over time, Cultured with love extravagantly applied, The tiny herb becomes a tree, Blossoms in greenery, A pleasure to the eye, And happiness to the souls of the makers,
Too big to escape the brutish eyes of fate, In vision of the bestial demon, It falls prey to the slayer, Ripped, shredded and quashed into pieces, Never to see another day again, Its elements, The two seeds disintegrating And going further apart by the day, Looking for other worlds to merge in, And other grounds to germinate,
Never to return they indeed are absorbed In other endeavors, But would the same splendor be recreated, Still remains a hope, For its witnesses
