Another rumour is heard
a story is being told
now everyone thinks something
has happened,
someone is hurtin'
someone is trying to explain
but in the shadows
voices continue whispering.
Self esteem is shattered
tears of frustration
slowly expolde
emotionally spinning out of control.
paranoia is all around
people talk
lips moving but not making a sound...
now on the edge of the shadows
is where you can be found
depressed lying in your bed
as the sun goes down.

whoa! Painful and powerful!!
The title drew me into this piece, but the words are so
raw with emotional anxiety I was held captive to the end!
Very compelling, this was.
