I have just one question,
So innocent and pure.
So harmless and gentle,
Like a playful pup's fur.
I want just one thing,
So clean and so clear.
So easy and simple,
If you would just hear...
I'm not asking for much,
No pearls or diamonds.
Not a studded gold ring,
Or a mauve throne that's cushoned.
I don't want to be famous,
No greetings or snap shots.
No inky autographs,
Or actors with tops off.
I don't want to be the sun,
Over a field in lat spring.
I don't want to be the moon,
Looking down as you dream.
I don't want to be the snow,
Floating through a cozy town.
I don't want to be the mediator,
Keeping all safe and sound.
I don't want to be taken
To Egypt or Japan.
Or across the middle east,
To Iraq and Iran.
I don't want to have a feast,
Of juicy steak and tender pork.
No cheesy potatoes,
With a lustrous silver fork.
I'm not asking for love,
No delux creamy chocolates.
Not a bouquet of cerise roses,
Or a reserved room in private.
See, it's nothing too fancy,
It's not tru romance.
I'm just asking for you,
To give me a chance.

wowwwwwwwwwww..........that is sooooooooo sweeet..u must really love the person..if my ex could ever write something like that to me i'd be a fool not to give him a chance..i hope he/she gives u a chance..awesome write..it;'s beautifull!!
