Love is Forever

Contributed by curtisc on Tuesday, 21st February 2006 @ 11:32:39 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

When you love someone it is forever,
even if you are no longer with them.
The mark they made will always be there,
eternally lingering deep, down inside.
Years upon years may pass,
but still that one is with you.
There is absolutely no way to escape it,
love is simply forever.
If you find that one you love,
be sure to hold on to them tight.
There's nothing worse than losing love,
because it is forever.
Random things will trigger your mind,
and the one you love is there.
Bringing with memories both good and bad,
but before long they are gone once more.
Still, love never goes away,
that one will always be there.
It follows you in your shadow,
forever...

Nicely done.
Though I would disagree that there is something worse than losing love and that is taking it for granted. It's like depriving the root its nourishment.
You did paint a lovely picture
