Fade To Black

Sitting motionless
frozen in time
Distancing myself
from the situation
Far away expression
within empty eyes
numbness creeps in
and takes hold
Emotions gone blank
time corrupted
by the nothingness
Infinity is a void
trapped inside itself
The mind flickers once
and fades to black.
