If Time

Time slips away through my hands. I feel it leave me; I know its gone. If life were so easy, I could take it all back. If life were so fragile, I could shatter the walls that cage me in.
If only you knew what I hold inside. If only you could see the wounds. If you knew who I truly was, you could have saved me long ago.
The noose around my neck tightens, but it is not death I fear. It is not the wastelands of eternity that bind me here. If you knew what held me back, you would never trust me again.
So close to the clock, but time keeps ticking by. I feel so far away from where we are. I feel so cold inside.
If I scream, I will let go and drown in my weakness. If I dont, Ill die here alone.
Survival takes more than the strength inside. Survival takes a passion to live your life.
If life were so easy, I could forget my short-comings. If life were so bright, I wouldnt be lost in the darkness.
Time slips through my hands, but I cant stop it.not again.
