Armor of a Soldier

Contributed by Valerie_Pearson on Wednesday, 29th January 2003 @ 12:45:00 AM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

I see him in my reflection,
he lives within me, and I in him,
he has concured my heart from the beginning,
within my womb,
I cherish him,
he is invigorating,
full of life, and energy,
stunning and fearless,
He holds his armor well,
once you are captured,
there's no turning back,
he has the ability to pull you into the depths of his soul,
and drown your heart with heavenly love,
He is my source of strength when my heart is broken,
he has the ability to turn human tears to laughter,
with his golden smile,
He can melt your heart, at a given moment,
locking his being to your world,
He is witty, original, and pure,
He is my son, my all,
He and I are inseparable,
we have an intellectual bond,
both physically and spiritually,
He has great power to fulfill me,
with pain, heartache, wonder, and worry,
yet also with blest joy, hope, dignity,
and un-dying love,
we are as one ..... united,
we together hold the key,
He is caring, loving, warm, and intended,
if not for him I couldn't see,
he is my greatest flame,
my most holy gift,
my growing armor,
...... light,
He is my son ...... Nathan,
my forceful energy, my insight to divine love,
locked within me, and guarded for eternity,
because he is a child from heaven,
together we journey!

Oh Val how awsome is the love of which you speak and yet there will come a day when you will give him to another,. Then your love will grow even more.Because yours is such a true unselfish love you will not loose him you will gain a daughter, grandchildren. and all the love you gave to him will be repaid a hundredfold.I do not think I could write about such things as you do in such depth.. My feerlings seem to be locked inside and won't come out. It is the clown that speaks.

What a beautiful poem. What a beautiful treasured gift from God. He must love you very much, Val, to send you such a dearly beloved child of his to care for.

Peace and love be with you both.

Hugs,
Rita
