Her body was weakened By the weight of his words And their love was close to crumbling In the dawn of surrender
I remember when we used to love Our seductions even and smooth Hands running lengths across the momentary embodiment of lust
But now, The memories fall like soldiers on a battlefield Lonely and forgotten Only concrete and dirt to fill the pages of an unwritten biography
She once loved him But now she moves on Because it just hurts to remember Hurts to know, to recognize That it was her who buried the memories
In a grave with no remorse...

You wrote this poem so beautiful. Yes, it was sad, so sad... I loved the ending of this poem.. Yes, so sad and delicate.. your poem moved very smoothly. I read it with care... I loved it from the first word on. This is in my mind a masterpiece poem.. a heart written treasure. raquelLeah |
