blanch, ranch
french, catch
hats off to silly romance
fat chance, fancy pants
whispering sweet nothings
candle wax, alto sax
tense muscles, just relax
bad cramps, false amps
full of lamps and tramps
take it slowly
the one and only
hand in the handstands
be the phony
don't be remiss to miss the sense
of princes and fences
crows to crow the humble pie
live it, give it
do or die.

I like that bit about prostitutes. Candle wax is so sexy.
It's an eye opening poem about the negativity of life.

| I'd like to make a note about this poem. While I do allude to prostitutes in this piece it is not wholly the focus nor the point. It is rather about experiences. From there I will leave it for the reader to interpret. Thanks. And thanks for everyone who has read and/or commented on any of my poems. I always appreciate them. |
