The mind of an emotional disaster

Contributed by dark_fighter_chick on Sunday, 26th February 2006 @ 02:51:29 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

You can NEVER say anything to me about my coeur {french for heart}
Without expecting either tears or blood to hit the floor.
And don't tell me you know how I feel, cuz you don't. You haven't a clue.
Cuz if you truly knew how I felt, Your tears would be all that's left of you.
You'd be crying on the same piece of paper upon which we write our souls
With words that were screaming in our hearts, leaving it with holes.
And if you did know what I feel, cuz you've been there many times,
Then you know I don't need another story of a broken heart to get me through mine.
I don't need another person trying to tell me how i'm suppose to feel.
To analyze me like i'm some kind of test rat, and tell me if it's real.
Don't tell me I need to move on,Don't tell me I don't need a man
Cuz I know what my heart feels, and only I can truly understand
And like I said in the begining of these lines, i'm already in tears,
Cuz this heart beats with love, anger, sorrow, and fears.
