A single tear could burn a hole in my soul
To see an ache I cannot fill
To be unable to make you whole
Wrenches at my heart
A mystery gloom that hovers over you
That covers you in darkness
Makes me want to be that one who
Can dispel the dark and bring you light
My total despair and my deepest fear
Are rendered obsolete at your smile
At your touch, at your love, I see clear
And I lose myself in you
In a word you bring me peace
I want only to do for you the same
With your touch you bring release
My deepest desire is for you
In my happiest moments you are there
In sadness you are standing by
I need you more than I need this air
I need you to need me too
