Tossed now and battered
Swept out to sea
She screams into silence
Like a wailing banshee
Moved to a rhythm
That is so hard to hear
She struggles in panic
So she wont disappear
Waves crest ferocious
Then fall with a sigh
They hold her below
Then lift her up to the sky
Watching and waiting
Held rooted at the shore
He waits and he watches
But he cant see her anymore
