A DIAMOND IMBEDDED IN HER SOUL

Contributed by Adelle on Tuesday, 28th February 2006 @ 03:11:45 PM in AEST
Topic: drugabuse

Shes been beat up,
Shes been abused
life didnt pick her up
when she was used
instead life kicked her down
she became hopeless and in despair
shame and guilt chained her to the ground
a cycle since she was little
to place again and again
guilt for others abuse
shame for others sin
despair for others un-sacred views
hopelessness to overcome them
at a dead end road
she carries her head down
embracing with open arms hells all time low
Shes worthless and heartless
numb and lost
who would want her now?
Who would see more than what she is?
She has been beaten and broken down
all she is good for is her body
which now has lost its once ravishing beauty
by the abuse she inflicted because of her low self esteem
he told her shes worthless
but a stick figure of a moment pleasure
so turning to fixing her body,
she gives into despair
a woman lost and forlorn
ready to give up her life
she wants to go home
all she has left, is this right
too shameful to tell
too sad to say
that if this girl had the will
she would find her faith
too devastating to see
for this woman doesnt know
she is of rare beauty
she has a diamond imbedded in her soul
women of fath
women of integrity
find passion and strength
and a divine beauty
they can conquer all
even hells abuse
and still stand tall-
proving women are not to be used-
