Vanquish the tides of time
for it is our enemy.
And like the earth
our spirits have eroded away
Laid bare are the ages of herecy
we turn from all suffering
For time has hardened our hearts
and left us this way.
Slay the sun and the moon
and together we banish the twilight
for the earth should be dark like our souls
in the days ahead
And the seas drain away
and exist only in our consciousness
and we are to blame , for like time
we let it, slip away.
