Cosmic Sledgehammer

Cosmic Sledgehammer

Directives not written in stone,
Decisions made sub conscience and alone,
Stars cosmically, overhead in a dome,
Future mistakes a constant unknown,

Opened mouth without a doubt,
Unthought spoken words which just spill out,
Sometimes wise, sometimes felt,
A simple slip, words can shout,

Regretted speech, maybe yes or maybe no,
The truth does hurt, or so I m told,
Can one be to blunt? or be to bold?
Should one hide? Should one fold?

Rest assure we learn from our mistakes,
Sometimes once, or two takes,
The cosmic sledgehammer does not hesitate,
To slam thy down, to make you wake,

With every blow, we shall learn,
With every blow, respect well earn,
With every blow, the past will burn,
With every blow, we get a new turn,

So hop right on and take a ride,
The past will hurt, but it will subside,
Learn from our mistakes, no tears, no cries,
Learn from the past, from the hammer,
Cause the Cosmic Sledgehammer is on your side..........
