I CANNOT LET YOU GO-

all alone off in the air
I gaze and stare
in a trance I see
a world so lonely
for my heart aches now
not understanding why or how?
I cannot let you go-
an imperfect relationship-
an imperfect man
yet I almost cant bare the pain
of letting you walk away
I cannot decide what I want or what is right
I thought I Knew all the answers but as I sit here tonight?
I do not know how to say goodbye
for the aches and pains burn inside
standing at the top of the mountain
as I take one last deep breath within
before completely emotionally breaking down
I stand tall and proud
as the wind gently blows
through my fine thin hair
and in the direction of the wind I stare
with my skirt flowing gracefully
in this gentle breeze
the wind sings me a sweet lullaby
to comfort my broken down cry
humming with the wind, I am comforted within
I still dont know where to go
deep down inside I feel I know
a choice I might not get
for me, I fear you will reject
so in the silence of the wind
begging and pleading I begin
that god would either soften your heart
or send me away and send me afar
but to sit here with the pain
and to sit here in un-deciding
hurts beyond any other pain
its like being punched in the stomach
when I feel like throwing up
I feel as if I have large soars bleeding with in
and the crying is only enhancing the pain
goodbye I cannot say
I dont know how to go my way
I dont know how you cope or if your even in pain?
or how you can move on
and just leave this love alone
goodbye? I need help this is my cry
that I might find hope in another guy-
walking off the mountain now
still unresolved and dont know why or how?
but one thing I do know
you have stole the key to my soul
and I cannot let you go-
