LoveRemembered

His soft brown eyes stared back into my cold blue ones. I had told him that i still loved him tons. But I could tell that he still didn't understand. This was turning out to be harder than i had planned.
I spoke to him as sofly and as gently as i could. But still I saw tears forming in his eyes as he stood. I told him things couldn't stay as they were. The rest of what happend is still a blur.
He left my house with tears falling from his eyes. I don't think i will ever forget hearing his cries. I wiped my own tears and watched him walk away. And I regret not running after him, still to this day.

over all this was a good peom but lines like " had told him that i still loved him tons" and "The rest of what happend is still a blur" sound a little forced, but still a good poem.
