How hard is it to find a hero?
Some one to rescue you from your own heart
You tell them all you can do it but secretly you run
You hide behind the ones you help
At night you cry yourself to sleep
Wishing for the hero to come in your dreams
But you awake still broken from all the lies
Each day you get up you put a piece back in place
This pain is still lingering inside waiting
Waiting for you to realize the one you want
IS the one who stares back at you in the mirror
You are the only one who can save you
No one elso can pick you up when you fall
Or tell you that you are going to make it
Those who tell you what you should do are obstacles
You are the one who has to live this life
Your only hero is you!
So stop looking and wishing
Put yourself back together and start living your life

| wow that is a strong poem. i liked it a lot b/c i can't stand ppl that sit around wait'n for something better to happen in their lives, when they should be out their make'n stuff happen for themselves. |
