Breaking Point

Filled with rage, Wanting to kick and scream! I want to break everything in my path!
No one takes the blame, I am betrayed, As I sit here in my coner, alone, crying.
No one understands, Not my feelings nor my words. I want to break free! Away from the tension and rage.
But when I try to fly, My chains hold me back, And I fall everytime.
Stumbling back up to the surface, I see them. Mocking me in the distance.
I return to my coner and begin to cry. I feel helpless. Everytime I fall, and everytime I weap.
It is harder and harder for me to get back up. I use every ounce of strength to get back in the game of life. But nothing changes.
I am still spit on, mocked, and bruised. But I never shed a tear for the ones that have done me wrong.

As I was reading this I was looking for the breaking point but I never could seem to find it. I read it again and still it wasn't there. I think this poem could go on and feels like it is not done however I commend you on the effort you put into it. Good job, keep writing |
