It took me awhile
But i allowed you into my life
Until now i didn't know
Know just what i was missing
I talk to you everynight
Just before i go to bed
Its sets my heart at ease
Knowing you there
Listening to me
I don't know what took me so long
And i hope you can forgive
With you in my life
I feel alive
So it is with this
That i say
Thank you god
For allowing me to talk to you everynight
Share my problems
Share my heatache
I know sometimes you can't always reply
But none the less
I know your listening
And watching from a above
