Their agenda is not honest Even if what they said was true They have ulterior motives Designed to enslave you
They used these situations To further their own ends They were pushing for delivery Of a slavery no Heaven sends
They were building for this moment But needed the 'Pear Harbour' effect Something to mould and scare you A brutal edifice to erect
A totalitarian christian state Where every action is controlled Where your thoughts are inspected And all 'justice' delivered cold
A society built on fantasy Accepted as God-given fact Enforced by a blind acceptance And any 'deviance' soon attacked
You will have no choice or opinion That's all been pre-ordained In the Bible's literal acceptance You're all to be de-brained
So using the attacks of September 9 As a kind of divine plan They scared you into obedience At the hands of the monkey-man
Moulding minds with believable myths All the stronger for not being true Creating demons to convince the weak To blind and manipulate you
Add a hunger for patriotic pride To stoke up militaristic lore Get all that extremist fervour Screaming to the fore
Get everyone thinking simply Forgetting all subtle sense Lose sight of the long-term benefits Of wise thoughts with diligence
'You're either for us or against us!' That's as simplistic as it gets Black and white as right and wrong They cast those lying nets
But now, thank God we see What incompetence this breeds The manic army of christian ghouls Who sowed their ignorant seeds
We see the long-term disaster Wrought from their short-term plans Plans to steer us straight to slavery Such folly their ignorance spans
Thank goodness the ignorant fail Ultimately they do But awful is the destruction As they seek to imprison you
Be vigilant and remember let us never never forget How close we came this time But for the resistance that they met
None of this was by accident Much came from the purest of hate As they sought to deeply enslave you In a christian totalitarian state
|O?
Extremism is extremism is extremism. Fundamentalism is fundamentalism is fundamentalism. Whether Right or Left, East or West...

HAHA! Good stuff. I already agree with everything you wrote, so you're basically preaching to the choir with me. But I am always down for a good skewering of the "Christian Totalitarian State." If you're bored, visit me at:

Extremism is extremism is extremism. You are so right here, great poem. Balanced reason is far more logical than blind faith. That's an interesting picture too, hehe.

as a whole much of human existence has always been dominated by religions, doctrines, belief systems, ideals, etc. as of now how many religions exist? hundreds. as of now how many gods and spirits and such exist? hundreds. you picked one, when most profess they offer exclusive truth and you must be this way and/or believe this way and do act in similar ways as you described. your idea was very unique in a sense, as someone else already said they already believed everything. i would say anyone that doesnt believe that religion would see the religion as extremist. im sure some people think some of the native american religions believing rocks and trees have spirits is a bit eccentric and extreme. religious people sacrificing people for their gods is a bit extreme isnt it? as a whole, i dont much care for christians, but to single them out when there are other religions just like them if not worse is kind of hypocritical. because isnt almost every religion trying to make its own totalitarian state? also a big generalization went into this poem. ive come across many more christian hypocrites than people that actually even meet any of these requirements. just because a lot of the world is christian doesnt mean they actually meet the ideals. and if you pride yourself on being so logical, prove all the christians wrong with logic, along with proving their practices/beliefs unethical and absurb. but i think that there have been many more people debrained by any religion than not. |

You paint a picture of Fundamental Christianity with a broad brush. I wish you would do some more research and come to a greater understanding of those you criticize before you make such sweeping generalities. The sort of fight that true fundamental Christians is typically not fought in the political arena or in the courts, but typically within our churches. The attempt is to keep pure that which the fundamentalist perceives as truth. I seldom see that leaking into the political realm, and those you call fundamental Christians that do so I say are ignoring one of the most fundamental teachings of our Bible and our society. Scripture teaches government has its place and religion has its place. They should not be the same entity, because such would ascribe religious power to a man. Think before you write next time. |

First of all the picture has me in stitches. I think Jesus/god whatever would be pretty angry at all the nonsense our country and other counties around the world have done in his name. We do mix religion in the United States in everything. IN GOD WE TRUST all over everything. What god? Whose god? Alan, ya make me think of this one song I can remember from years ago...there was a line it..."Praise the lord and pass the ammunition" right on. If we all...every person in this world would have acceptance....and if every person in this world would lay down their weapons and stop this fighting.....holy crap now wouldn't that be more god-like? I am not religious, but I am very spiritual. I think your write was great.... full of good sarcasms and all truths. Peace man, Laura (who loves my country, but fears the hec out of my goverment) |

Wether people agree with your views or not this is an extraordinary piece of thought provoking work.
By far one of the best poems I've read on here for a while tight rhyming and direct to the point.
The irony of this is (and this is not my opinion) you will probably be percieved as an extremist by some for airing your views!.
5stars!

This is very simple. What you said is true of the past use of religion to further a state or countries aim of colonization and enrichment for itself. Unfortunately, that ended two hundred years ago. If you check your facts, and the actions of the churches and the aims of those states, they have been diametrically different.
Example:
Pope John Paul 11 .. thank you.
