I Have Never Seen A Rose

Contributed by Drapes on Monday, 6th March 2006 @ 06:49:50 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

have never seen a rose
From first person point of view.
I have never smelled a rose,
Neither elderly nor new.
I have never heard a rose
Sing its lovely melodies.
I have never tasted a rose,
They say it's candy to a baby.
I have never felt a rose,
Too fragile for my touch.
For I have never seen a rose,
A rose is just too much.

I am not exactly sure what you are trying to say with this poem, but it sure sounds great. I like the flow and rhythm of it. If you're bored, hit me up at:

I like creative types of people. Late.

Wow. That really touched me
I don't know what it's supposed to mean for you
because i know that i like to make my poems diverse so all people can relate to them in one way or another.
but this reminds me of my girlfriend
who died 2 years ago.
this poem made me happy
but sad
thanks for thinking to write such an inspiring poem.
