He walks to the window, uncertain of the Word's wisdom. Yet, she continues her safety with the symbolic nature.
The knowledge of a lifetime never equipped him to comprehend. Just another man who misunderstood Jesus.
His shoulders, carry inadequacies for the pillow. His warmth, jealous of the blankets.
Musical interludes interrupt the momentary transgressions. A flashback reminds him of destiny.
The revelation of a momentary man forces him to relive history, void of its moments, alive in its emotions. Yet, still she sleeps, safe, warm, in love.
She awakes to cast loving eyes on the sailor. Frozen for a moment, then realizes love will never destroy, Peter returns to her side.

Sad and honest, confessional in parts. Solid poetry with the most important feature included-Art. |
