To the man I love

Contributed by jrsmother03 on Tuesday, 7th March 2006 @ 11:17:58 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

To the man I love:
The day I met you I was sure you were for me.
The days passed love grew.
Then times got tough but we survived.
Then GOD gave us our bundle of joy.
Then our love was so strong.
Our hands so full.
Our heart and souls were filled.
Then we bought our first house and now we are home.
My mind began to play games.
Not knowing where I was planning on being or doing.
Unsure of what to do.
But you held me tight and never let me go.
THANK YOU
This be known I never wanted to hurt you.
I just did not no what I wanted from life.
This I know was a hard time for us.
You and I we made it through.
We will always have trials and tribulations set
before us, but we will always make it through.
But we have built a bond and said I DO.
Now when I sit and think of things I say and do
I am sorry that I ever hurt you. Your true love.

Why did you write this for people to read
you should just give it to him
for the pain that he put you through
but there is always two sides to a story
the question is.......what is his
I don't believe in love
but it was a good story.

I like your poem and don't listen to foolish comments, obviously if this person does not believe in love then he or she does not know that when you are in love you want the whole world to know how happy you are and how wonderful your partner is. I know why you posted this poem and most everyone else does too, don't let people like that make you doubt posting anything on this site. I like this site and usually you don't get people asking questions like that . This poem was great, It shows that love can overcome any obstacle in life given the time and patience
