The Book of Life Part VII

Contributed by NoSaint on Wednesday, 8th March 2006 @ 07:33:28 AM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

Now to the forest deep I go
Where the jade is I dont know
The fairies guard it well
So I go to where the fairies dwell

I remember this forest as being green
But not much of life is seen
What has happened to their land?
How can I lend a hand?

The fairies are in deep despair
This forest they cannot repair
Without the gift of pure tears
It will be gone in less than a year

To hear their plight causes me to cry
It sorrows me to watch such wonders die
Where my tears fall new life begins
Seems my tears true wiped away the earths sins

Now a decision hard I must make
Do I give up my tears for the fairies sake?
Tears cleanse the heart of much sadness
Will giving them away cause me madness?

The choice I make is to give away
My tears to save the fairies day
I will my sadness carry ever
For cleanse my heart I can never

As a reward for my unselfish deed
The fairies meet my own need
The jade dart they give to me
And the way to the heart stone I see

Color me forever blue
In the book
Of
Life

a lot of forest will be cut away, soon no where will they be able to hide their evil doings, and the good will appear.
