There are moments in this life I truly regret,
When things haven't gone according to plan.
I wish I could only press reset,
But time rewinds for no man.
There are no retries, no going back,
There is no way to reclaim lost time.
I continue forward on life's track,
For those moments will never again be mine.
The clock ticks without rest,
And time shows no remorse.
Though I might try my best,
Time will run its course.

I find I have the same feelings, time/life moves like a highway and sees no problem in passing you by if you let it. Sometimes you just need a break/just for it all to slow down, to regain ur senses so you dont have those regrets.

I know so many people who could relate to this, myself included.
I think we all have our regrets and all wish we could turn back time once in a while, but in the end, I think things all happen for a reason, so it's probably best that we can't.
