My True Love Lies A

Topic: goodbyepoetry

My true love lies dying,it is breaking my heart.
We swore to each other we would never ever part.
Vows were made in pure faith and strong undying love.
Not comprehending life can be changed with just a push and a shove.

Oh god why ,oh why ,did you do this to we two?
The answer to my prayers,he was, when first he came to woo.
My hero,my prince,my all i would ever ask for..
Why god did have to go shut and lock that door?

He lies a"dying, his poor body and soul is ravaged.
I am unwilling to go on,my once tame heart is now savage.
It isnt fair to us god,
You know, two people in love, this is such a hard, hard blow.
For us there really can be no tomorrow,
Only pain, dark and despairing, and lots and lots of sorrow.

Eyes once filled with shining love and hope are now dim,tear-filled.
Are you laughing at us now god and saying what a funny joke?
Tears, his and mine, many countless ones, have been spilled on respective pillows.
So for us my Pj babe there is no hope,no tomorrow,
Only a sad today filled monstrous grief and sorrow..

A very sad poem, I cannot think of any words that will or can take away such grief. Write it out of your system that is my advice. I am surprised that this poem recieved no comments bern.
