As you dive
in you remember your prayer
that you would drown quickly and no one would care
but as you sink deeper
you start thrashing around
choking on water
but making no sound
now the pressure is crushing
you scream out in pain
but the more air you lose
the less you will gain
and as your body shuts down
no motion you make
the last thing you know
is you made a mistake.

i know its suicide poetry, but why did it seem as though there was some hidden humor on the side? i don't know, but the writing was great, i loved it.

I really like this poem. My biggest fear is drowning actualy (yet... I still am a swimmer... who knows!) Great write!
