I'm surrounded by people, but so alone.
My expression so blank,
But thousands of images and emotions
Going through my mind.
He's on the court, he's on the bleachers,
He's with his girl, and he's only in my mind.
Four different people.
The chosen.
Ready or not, here I come...
But only in my mind are we ever together.
You go for the layup and miss again.
If you were with me, you would have made it.
You nearly fall down the bleachers stratching.
If you were with me, you would have been steady.
You make a rude comment and she punches you for it.
If you were with me, I would have hugged you and laughed.
You sit at home playing video games.
If you were with me, you would be out having a life.
I can only make you better.
No disadvantages.
If only you gave me a chance...
