Sometimes life takes a different turn
Change of direction, will the fire inside, fading fast, still burn?
Crossroads of emotion, make a right, and be left out
Make a left, and not be right, feel the boundaries start to crumble
The fall will be a doozy, first a stumble now a tumble
And all that was worked for, and all that was gained
Will fade in the rear view mirror, as sad memories just remain
