Ice Cream and Antidepressants

Contributed by MyNameIsJonas on Saturday, 11th March 2006 @ 08:18:15 PM in AEST
Topic: Event

Reaching for thoughts from the depths of my mind
Searching for all of those that I could find
Seeing the foregone events of my life
Remembering the past's problems and strife

Wondering if the path thats been chosen
Was really correct; now it seems frozen
Without a second thought I pick that path
Now all thats left seems to be unknown wrath

I am falling in a bottomless pit;
Questions if you hear the cries I emit
These worries don't appear to have ending
Just like the fall it is never-ending

Descending further, a bright light appears
It is your smile and it brings me to tears

Wonderful write.

Wondering if the path that’s been chosen
Was really correct; now it seems frozen

These lines really spoke to me. Keep up the great work. : )

Kevin, The title was excellent, that's what caught my eye. The write was really good as well. The first stanza was my favorite. Peace, Laura
