I dropped the last dime that I had in the kitchen Forgettable headless young shaman I'm missing Who just gripped my hand, with much urgency downward Letters killed, telegraphs, wetlands and time blurred
You said with a smile, "My hands are not bleeding." Sensuous, reticent, heretic seething Mother, I want you to hold me in golden And let me take comfort in time spun and woven
A dream comes as paradise, relief to mundane Your heart was once sweeter than burning brown sugar cane But left now a rotted black apple's regret Lament for destruction, feelings improve, not yet
Without regard for me you left without regret You smiled and told me you loved me when we met As you left I cried and wept almost endlessly Drips broke through glasses and burned, leaving holes in me
Seraph arisen and tumbling greatly The governor's weapon, used carelessly, and stately Your first wife is dropping your bed down the drainpipe "Rest easy, brother", she shouts, though you're black and white
