6 Years in 6 Months
A vertical climb
With a heart so heavy.
David and Goliath
With no time to get ready.
Two people so right,
Situation so wrong.
Which one will win,
Which will come out strong?
It's all down to me,
And it's so ***** hard..
To maintain my love,
Deny fate the last laugh.
I throw back my head
To let out the pain-
I gotta pull myself up
And try to change.
Six years in six months
Won't be easy or quick.
I pray he'll be patient,
And with me he'll stick.

| Cute write. Don't worry. I am almost 7 yrs older than my husband. Trust me, you will learn many things from each other. Just because your younger doesn't mean you have to grow up too fast. Take take of yourself, and then each other. You'll both grow together. I wish you well, Peace, Laura |

A solid debut! Welcome to YPDC. Six years is not as big a gap that is made by some. As long as you are willingly to grow into him, he should be patient. You have to grow to his maturity and he has to be patient with your growth. Love takes time, no matter what the age gap is. It may come fast, but it takes a long time to tame it just right so it doesn't over heat us. Good luck with this guy and everything you seek or find in the future.
I look forward to more work from you. Once again welcome to YPDC!
