my heart in was rapture over this soul I was after for it was only love that matter
but it was love that I could not capture
now I feel like I'm in the life after
for I had hope we could live happily ever after
but I'm watching it turn to a disaster
all over a love I was after
trying to fix this heart with weak plaster
for it has lost all its laughter
it was put out to pasture
living in the here not the after
all over love and its disaster
