The rain had just fallen
Upon the dry cracked earth
I look to the heavens
And my heart gave birth
To a new perception
Of you I see
A friend, a lover
What are you to be?
The long sweet talks
Strikes a terror within
Will I circum to this madness
Will my heart give in?
Trust is something
I'm unable to supply
For its force is like a river
And my river has run dry
An answer to this insanity
Is what I wish to request
For you to offer stability
Madness at its best
I will never ask you
Of this perplexed deliberation
A thought so alluring
It provokes contemplation
For you to think of me
Take me into consideration
A risk I know
A giant leap of trust
A hazard without caution
I consider it a MUST
While looking to the heavens
On that very special night
I wish I made upon the brigtest light
Allieviate the guilt
Let worth shine through
For my worth is all
That I yearn for you to see
For all I have to offer you
Is ME
