No Amount of words

Contributed by Archie on Wednesday, 22nd March 2006 @ 09:40:38 PM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

When you look out over the valley
and see the clear blue sea
no amount of words descibes
the view that can be seen
It is just like that my friends
when e''re i think of you
you always come through for me
even when I act a fool

I don''t deserve the praise you give to me
I hope that someday I can give what you''ve given to me

As we watch the brilliant colors
when our day comes to an end
and we sigh because we can not find
the words to compliment
It is how I feel about you
and your loyalty to me
when e''re i think about you
my thoughts fill up with glee

As the earth speeds on its journey
and we know not where it goes
but we trust that it will lead us
to a place good crops will grow
In my heart I hope our journeys
will keep us real strong as friends
Thanks for standing by me
even til the bitter end

There are no words I can say to make it known
What it means to me the friendship you have shown

I will try to say it much more personally
but for now I hope this poem
will say the words for me

As iron sharpens iron so you have sharpened me
I am always in your debt for what you''ve done for me

____________________________________________________________________________________________

There is a debt that can not be repayed
except through thank you
When a friend stands by a friend
during tough times
Rough currents still lie
far ahead of me
but peace will also soon abide
Where we can drink the waters of refreshing
with those who say "i still am your friend"
I hope one day that I can do the same thing
when broken times make hearts hard to mend.

We all go through a lot. Sometimes we wonder if we will ever get through the storm. But later we always can look back and see God's hand leading us out of it. Keep writing. Keep lifting us up through your words. It is nice to know we are not the only ones going through stuff.
