All I can hear are the voices in my head (lyrics)

Contributed by bethers_is_my_baby on Thursday, 23rd March 2006 @ 10:23:41 PM in AEST
Topic: anguished

tears and blood stream down her skin
her heart, her soul, aches from within.
desperately trying to ignore what she hears
face to face with her greatest fears.

"just go away" she screams inside
but theres nowhere she can go to hide
layin' there while her soul slowly dies
silently she screams inside

someone tell me what to do
someone tell me what is true.

cause i just cant take it anymore,
layin' bruised n bloody on the floor,

i cant hear my heartbeat, now, instead,
all i can hear are the voices in my head

just close your eyes
it'll all be okay
you were never meant to be here anyway

just listen to me
don't be scared
we both know that no one ever cared

don't turn away
don't try to hide
I'm what you really feel inside

if you really want to make them see
just kill yourself
then you'll finally be free.

"just go away" she screams inside
but theres nowhere she can go to hide
layin' there while her soul slowly dies
silently she screams inside

someone tell me what to do
someone tell me what is true.

cause i just cant take it anymore,
layin' bruised n bloody on the floor,

i cant hear my heartbeat, now, instead,
all i can hear are the voices in my head

alone again, she awaits her fate
overwhelmed completely by her own self hate
shes stronger than she'll ever know
but her broken heart just wont let go

"just go away" she screams inside
but theres nowhere she can go to hide
layin' there while her soul slowly dies
silently she screams inside

someone tell me what to do
someone tell me what is true.

cause i just cant take it anymore,
layin' bruised n bloody on the floor,

i cant hear my heartbeat, now, instead,
all i can hear are the voices in my head

someone tell me where to go
someone help me, cause i don't know
where i am, this lonely place
cold and dark
this desolate space.
the voices are gone
but now I'm lost
Ive taken my life
and Ive paid the cost

this is an absolutely amazing write. very powerful. and you did something that seems imposible to do anymore...you expressed the emotions and the feelings so perfectly yet somehow still managed to keep a flow to it all....

I must say that words were almost moving. Many if not everyone has had the feelings you wrote so well

wow. i've never felt like this but it's written with such feeling it made me shiver! i hope you dont feel like this, although to have put it into words so beautifully i fear otherwise... when you feel like you're at rock bottom you can drag yourself up or find new depths...take control and make your own happiness..great write!
