No time for elegance You are a picture of loneliness As you stumble in your darkness Dragging yourself along
Oh, how those blue eyes weep Yet without tears left to shed The sorrow that you cannot hide Is written in those still blue waters
Do you ever dream of me When night has fallen over you The touch I bring you say you love That reaches through your emptiness
I could fill your empty spaces Make you long for the divine I could give you all of my passion And cause a ripple in your still blue waters

Love is visible in between those stanzas though my poet friend could have squeezed his heart to get some more emotion into the poem yet the true effort is apparent.
