Daddy's little girl
When I was a little girl I felt so alone I missed my daddy , wanted him home
Little did I know the reason he was gone He was serving time over in Vietnam
As a little girl I could only seem to see Daddy was not there, as I needed him to be
Daddy was my world when I was a little girl He was my prince charming, my duke of earl
I learned to accept a daddy passed due He was fighting to guard our country for me and you
He was a changed man when he returned home He was now always there I was never alone
I am proud of my daddy for what he has done Making this world safer for all our loved ones

well i can identify somewhat with this piece. i think you did an excellent job rhyming and getting the little girl tone to shine in this. your last rhyme or perhaps the line didnt flow as nicely as your others though. i dont know if the rhythm was off or if it was the rhyme. maybe you can follow in his footsteps =] |
