I'm a bird,
I can't stand to fly,
I feel my wings have broke.
I'm have a tornado inside of me,
Eating up all my unspoken words.
I'm a little boat,
out in a lonely ocean, that cant sail away.
I feel the cold waves crash down on me
pulling me under.
I'm a plane,
falling from the clouds
like rainy weather,
along with all my dreams.
I'm that small stitch
struggling to patch it all up inside.
I'm a fly on the wall
looking for special things inside,
a better part,
just to find more.
I'm a pencil
writing my soul down word for word
and all that remains,
with no eraser in my life.
I am a germ
causing the disease, that cant be cured.
I am the owl
who brings the darkness
never fading away
I am more than a girl.
More than a pretty face
falling with clouds between her knees.
I am more than disturbed.
I am more than naive.
I am more than absurd.
I am more than crazy.
I am more than guilty.
I am a fool for life
searching to find a place to run away and hide.
I wish that you could see me cry.
I wish that you could see the scares I leave behind.
I wish that you could see through the ways I find to lie.
Even I have a right to bleed.
A gray sky morning
Down on my knees
Digging for krytonite
on a one way street.
In front of the home I never see.
The world has folded into my little heart.
Yet I'm only a girl.
It's not so easy being me.
