Pontius

Topic: AngryPoetry

I sit quietly all alone

eating shards of glass

hate the way i hurt inside

but i hope it will last

take your eyes from off my face

i know what i lack

don't think i'll forget the way

you stabbed me in the back

honestly honestly

can you blame me

for what i've seen

was it my fault

i seen blood on your hands

pontius wash them clean

it wasn't your demand

as i lay me down to sleep

i pray that i wont wake

as i know the worth of souls

i pray that yours he'll take

sheep thats fallen from the flock

let me fall behind

as i go forth to be judged

will this blood he find

Father forgive them

for they know not what they do

Father forgive them

for the wrongs that they've done you

but father deny him

yet i know this cant be true

so father deny me

for the wrongs that i must do

such raw emotions. great write. i love the imagry when you eat the shards of glass, causing your own pain and becoming dependent on that same pain. you have an amazing talent. keep writing
