MY BLESSING
Before i met you my life was okay
i can't exactly say it was what it is today.
I was kind of lost with no where to go
losing a best friend twice is pretty hard you know.
Trusting people is a little hard for me to do
but its not as hard as it seems as i live day by day getting to know you
I havent even known you for over a year
but what a wonderful friendship is what it looks has appeared
I use to cry myself to sleep everynight
and sometimes i still do
but the nights that i'm not crying
its because i'm thinking of a GREAT friend like you
I use to find it hard to tell people how i really felt
but i have kind of conquered that fear now
with just a little of your help.
If you ever need anything know that i am here
maybe i can return the favor
and help you conquer a fear.
You mean sooooooooo much to me
i can't even describe in words to say
when your sad i'm sad too
and if you ever just need someone to listen
i'm here to listen through the whole way
I really do care even if you think i don't
if you asked me to stop caring today
i could but i wont.
I asked GOD to send me a GREAT FRIEND
but little did i know
I was getting more than a great friend
but you are a blessing I KNOW....

You're right, putting trust in something or someone new can be a hard thing to do.
Sometimes you just have to take that risk though.
Fortunately it worked for you.
